Description

The 1st-Tier Subcontractors list is due no later than 4:00 p.m. PST, September 21, 2022. Bid Security, Performance/payment and public works bonds will be required for this project. Documents can be viewed and downloaded from the Current Solicitations section . All bids submitted shall contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident or non-resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279A.120. A person shall not submit a bid to do work as a construction "contractor," as defined in ORS 701.005 (2), unless that person is first registered with the Construction Contractors Board. Bids received from persons who fail to comply with this requirement shall be deemed nonresponsive and be rejected, unless contrary to federal law. Each bidder shall comply with the requirements of the Prevailing Wage Rate Law in ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870; Equal Opportunity requirements; and provide Worker's Compensation Insurance for its employees as per ORS 656.029. All subject employers working under the contract are either employers that will comply with ORS 656.017 or employers that are exempt under ORS 656.126. No bid may be withdrawn after the time and date set for the bid opening. The Board of Education, Linn-Benton Community College, may waive any or all informalities and irregularities, may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public procurement procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the College that it is in the public interest to do so.
