Mcmurry University - New Student Housing Complex

The construction of two three-story apartment buildings with site development at the Southwest corner of Hunt Street and Santos Street in Abilene, Texas. All proposals shall include a bid security in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check payable without recourse to the Owner in the amount of five (5%) of the largest total proposal amount. This is a guarantee that the offeror will enter into a Contract and execute Contract Surety. All proposals shall also include a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, both in the amount of the Contract Sum. The cost of such bonds shall be included in the proposal. The deadline to submit questions to the Architect is 5:00 pm, Friday, September 9, 2022. The Owner shall select the offeror that submits the proposal that offers the best value for the Owner based on the published selection criteria and on its ranking evaluation. Proposals may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed sixty (30) days from the date of proposal opening for evaluations and ranking prior to the contract award.
