Description | The project involves the separation of a combined (sanitary and storm) portion of the existing sewer systems, including a portion in the intersection of 4th Street and Penn Street (S.R. 0026). New sanitary and storm sewers, as well as related appurtenances will be constructed during the project. An existing waterline, as well as associated valves, fittings, and appurtenances will also be replaced during the project. The waterline crossing S.R. 0026 will be an 8” ductile iron pipe in a 16” steel casing pipe. Proposed utility lines will be installed (open-cut) in and along existing roadways, in areas that have been previously disturbed. Disturbed areas within the Department ROW will be restored according to the Department’s requirements. |
