Z2--Remove and Replace Electrically Operated Roll-Up Overhead Steel Garage Door & Overhead Lighting

The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, labor, materials, supervision, transportation and any and all other items necessary to perform the following work: • Remove and dispose the existing metal overhead garage door, frame, mounting brackets/hardware, motor/starter, electrical etc. • Remove and dispose five (5) existing florescent overhead light fixtures including conduit, JBs, wiring etc. • Remove and dispose all interior and exterior existing electrical components, wiring, conduit, JBs, switches, control boxes and wiring from main connection/junction box to overhead door and lights. • Furnish and install one 14’ +- - wide X 12’ +- high roll up/coiling non-insulated galvanized steel overhead motorized garage door w/ hood, tracks, frame, operators, hood, chain etc. • Furnish and install all new electrical wiring and feeds, including breaker, wiring, conduit, JBs, switches control boxes, conduit, disconnects and fusible disconnect in conduit and connection into main panel in adjacent electrical room for the controls, door and lights. • Provide power control on inside switch with similar features as the existing switch and new conduit and wiring from main connection/control to overhead door and lights. • Provide power control with key access on outside switch with similar features as the existing switch. • Operator must be electrically controlled by push button controls on either side of door as well as a chain – hoist with cast iron sprocket wheels, operated on the inside. • Safety features including but not limited to bottom photo eye and bottom sensing safety edge. • Furnish and install 3 new harsh environmental LED lights and furnish 1 additional spare LED light. • Provide support and framing for new light fixtures.
