Road Stabilization Project (Lime-Rock Placement and Compaction)

The stabilization of approximately 1,314,701 square yards of dirt roads by placing approximately 327,397 tons (192,587 cubic yards) of Lime-Rock Base material. These are estimated numbers and are meant to represent the entirety of dirt (currently unstabilized) roads within the County road network. to, furnishing all materials, labor, tools, maintenance of traffic and machinery necessary to remove any loose sandy soils and uniformly apply the lime-rock base to a compacted depth of 5 inches with a 3.5 percent crown for new construction and existing facilities.
