| Description | Design, build, install, operate and manage a complete turnkey high-speed communications network within the City of Bowling Green, KY. The City expects that most potential vendors will propose Fiber-to-the-home Active E, GPON and/or WDM/PON technologies to provide symmetrical gigabit service to households, businesses and institutions throughout the City. This system must include all active and passive infrastructure, including fiber cabling, active repeater equipment, uninterruptible power supplies, network cross-connections, software and ancillary equipment. The provider would be responsible for all aspects of the network including fiber drop cable installation to connect the customer’s premises to the network, negotiation and execution of access agreements, all network electronics and customer premises equipment. |
