Hazardous Waste Removal Services

The San Francisco Unified School District through the Facilities Services Division requires the services of a pool of qualified Contractors with the capability and capacity to provide emergency and routine Hazardous Waste Removal Services in accordance with applicable Federal, State, Local and Municipal laws, and perform all phases of Hazardous Waste Management. The San Francisco Unified School District is the seventh largest school district in California, serving about 50,000 students who speak more than 44 languages across 132 schools in San Francisco every year. We aim for every student who attends SFUSD schools to discover his or her spark, along with a strong sense of self and purpose, and that all students graduate from high school ready for college or career, and equipped with the skills, capacities and dispositions outlined The District intends to award at its discretion, up to three (3) separate contracts to three (3) separate Proposers to provide the services. The total value of all the contracts shall not exceed One Million Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500,000). A contract made pursuant to this RFP shall have an initial term of three (3) years. In addition, the District, in its sole discretion, shall have two options to extend the term of the contract for a period or periods of up to one (1) year each. The maximum contract period shall not be more than five (5) years. The District expressly reserves the right at any time to: Reject any or all Proposals; The District reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, to contract services with whomever and in whatever manner the District decides, to abandon the product entirely, and to waive any informality or non-substantive irregularity in any Proposal or in the bidding as the interests of the District may require.
