Description | The Nichols North and South Resident Hall is located at Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC) in Rangely Colorado. The dormitory style facility was originally built in 1970 and consists of twin two story buildings, conjoined by a hallway and Campus Life Coordinator apartment. The exterior of the facility is currently sided with board and batten style siding, paired with roofing metal material around the windows (Approx. 5,300 sf). This project requires the removal of deteriorated siding, trim, and metal. Remove vapor barrier beneath exterior surface, and advise if any structural work is necessary. The project requires that the appropriate underlayment/backing be installed once structural repairs are conducted. The contractor will be required to install ½ underlayment in places that need replaced, replace all vapor barrier and window wrap and install 29-gauge vertical galvanized steel siding to reach a minimum of R-Value of 1.80 minimum |
