Description

This project would rehabilitate the Station No. 1 Pump Station. The Waterworks Facilities Assessment, conducted by Carollo Engineers in 2015,recommended replacing both pumps and motors, rehabilitating or replacing the pump cans, and rebuilding and resealing the concrete slab. In addition, a third pump will be installed to provide a redundant backup pump. Design is expected to be completed in July 2022 and construction completed by February 2024. Project is included in the City of Simi Valley's FY 2022 - 2027 CIP. As of June 28, 2022, information regarding a design team and a general contractor is not available. Design is anticipated to be completed in July 2022 and construction is anticipated to be completed by February 2024.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
