Description

Award of the bld will be based on lowest and best bid as determined by the Owner. Questions should be directed to Jimmy Hendrickson. Service Manager at 314-809-4335. 3 Elevator Service Agreement Project. Bid Place: Obtaining Documents: Interested Bidders should make arrangements to obtain documents. Documents may not be available at the pre-bid meeting if prior arrangements are not made. The Owner reserves the right to hold all bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the date fixed for the openings of bids, to reject any and all Bids and waive any formalities or Irregularities. Outline of Project: This project requires licensed elevator service companies to provide the management, supervision, services, labor, equipment, parts, materials, tools, clerical and administrative support, necessary to perform preventative maintenance and repair services necessary to maintain the school district's elevators and platform lifts In a safe and serviceable operating condition as well as the maintenance necessary to ensure the equipment provides foil life cycle service and avoids premature failure due to inadequate or improper service and maintenance. These services are to be performed by properly trained and licensed elevator maintenance personnel in the employ of the company awarded this work. Sub-contracted work is not acceptable. All work to be performed in a high quality and professional manner in accordance with the requirements, specifications and recommendations of this document, those of the manufacturer and that of any authority having jurisdiction. (If the Principal's Bid be accepted and the Contract awarded to it, within ten (10) days after notice of award, it will execute and effect a Contract in accordance with the terms of its Bid and provide other required contract submittals.) Blds will not be publicly read. Owner's Representative Other Requirements: Each Bidder who submits a bld must hold any licenses as provided by law. No blds will be read or considered which do not fully comply with the above provisions as to bond and licenses, and any deficient bld submitted will be resealed and returned to the Bidder immediately.
