Description | D264955, PIN 439093, FA Proj Y001-4390-933, Livingston Co., Pavement Rehabilitation, NY Route I-390, Towns of Avon & Geneseo., Bid Deposit: 5% of Bid (~ $1,500,000.00) , Goals: DBE: 6.00% I-390 from Rt 20A (Exit 8 - Geneseo) To Exit 10 (Avon) This project proposes pavement and drainage improvements to I-390 from Route 20A (Exit 8-Geneseo) to Exit 10 (Avon) in the Towns of Geneseo and Avon, Livingston County. This project will repair damaged concrete pavement to restore rideability and prevent deterioration of the entire pavement structure. The current status of the project is In Development. The Bid Opening is expected to be in Winter 2022/2023. Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2023. Construction is expected to be completed in Fall 2024. This Project is Located in the Genesee Valley Region and Includes the Following: Counties Livingston Every bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check or bank cashier's check payable to the NYS Department of Transportation, in the sum of the amount shown on the proposal title page. Bonds must be on form CONR 391. Electronic bids must include an electronic bid bond. NYDOT - Pavement Rehabilitation, NY Route I-390 The Contractor's work schedule and methods must be consistent with the SWPPP and the E&SC plan in the contract documents. If the Contractor's proposed sequence of work varies from the contract documents, a modified E&SC plan must be submitted for NYSDOT approval. Once the progress schedule (and modified E&SC plan) is approved, it will be maintained on-site with the SWPPP Based on previously-constructed projects of similar size and scope, it is anticipated that construction activities will be completed in the following general sequence: Set up NYSDOT field office and install construction signs. Establish off-site material and equipment storage/staging areas. Note: The use and selection of these sites is at the discretion of the Contractor and are not part of this SWPPP. The Contractor is responsible for obtaining any required permits, implementing appropriate erosion and sediment control practices, and restoring these sites after use. Install temporary sanitation facilities (portable toilets, dumpsters, roll-offs). Perform survey and stakeout. Demarcate clearing limits, sensitive resources and features to be protected. Install initial E&SC practices and stabilized construction entrances. Perform clearing and grubbing of vegetation. Strip and stockpile topsoil and perform preliminary site grading. Stabilize disturbed areas using appropriate E&SC practices. Stabilize material stockpiles using appropriate E&SC practices. Install or relocate utilities as needed. Continue to stabilize disturbed areas using appropriate E&SC practices. Reconstruct or rehabilitate pavement, curbs and sidewalk if applicable. Continue to stabilize disturbed areas using appropriate E&SC practices. Construct permanent post-construction stormwater management facilities. Complete final site grading and topdress exposed areas with topsoil. Apply seed and mulch to establish permanent vegetative cover. Install rolled erosion control products and soil stabilizers on steep slopes. Install new plantings. When permanent vegetative cover is established, remove any remaining E&SC practices and repair/seed/mulch any areas damaged during removal. Monitor site until final stabilization is achieved. Additional work operations and sequencing information may be outlined in the contract documents. The general sequence of work listed above will be replaced by the construction/progress schedule provided by the Contractor at the pre-construction meeting. A copy of the Contractor's approved schedule will be maintained on-site with the SWPPP |
