Village of Lake Delton WI - 2022 Streets Project

The work for which bids are asked includes the following: Reconstruction of Burritt Avenue - Urban section road reconstruction to include two (2) travel lanes and adjacent bike lanes, and sidewalk on one side of the roadway. A compact concrete roundabout is also proposed for the intersection of Xanadu Road and Burritt Ave. o Reconstruction of Bayer Lane - Rural section roadway to include two (2) travel lanes and center concrete flume o Work items to support the street reconstructions include: - Clearing and Grubbing - Unclassified Excavation - Traffic Control - Erosion Control - Minor Sanitary Sewer and Water Main Adjustments - Sanitary Sewer - Storm Sewer - Asphalt Pavement and Base Course - Concrete Sidewalk - Concrete Curb and Gutter - Chain Link Fencing - Pavement Markings and Signage - Turf/Site Restoration The anticipated substantial completion date is June 30, 2023 and final completion date is July 21, 2023. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. 1230 South Boulevard, Baraboo, WI 53913The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The project in the Village of Lake Delton is funded in part by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP) to include funding from LRIP and the MSID funds. OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
