Description

Replacement of PRVs includes demolition of existing facilities, installation of new pressure reducing valve assemblies and vaults including piping appurtenances, connections to the storm drain system, road and sidewalk restoration, and landscape restoration. Engineer's Estimate for this work is $4,780,000 to $5,500,000. All physical work shall be completed in the time specified in Section 1-08.5. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a certified or cashier's check or surety bid bond made payable to the City of Redmond, for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of such bid including sales tax, and all listed additives and alternates. The City ofRedmond, in accordance w ith Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this adverti.sement, disadvantaged. business enterprises as defined at 49 Code of Federal Regulations Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national, origin, or gender in consideration for an award.
