Professional Consulting Services (Structural Engineering)

This project will provide on-call professional consulting services for Structural Engineering services for the UT Systemwide campuses / institutions from November 1, 2021 through October 31, 2022. This contract can be extended to a maximum of 4 – one-year terms pending State Building Commission Approval. Work under this contract is limited programming (scope definition), alterations, improvements, planning, repairs, and maintenance; including, but not limited to site visitation and investigation, analysis, structural engineering services, specification development, cost estimating, and construction and/or repair observation for various projects which cost under $100,000. Other Terms and Conditions as outlined in Exhibit A. It is the desire of the University to select multiple Structural Engineering firms to service any of our campuses or institutions depending on location of need. Number of firms in each area and location are anticipated to be as follows: Knoxville – 2 firms After firms have been awarded, individual project selection will be based upon submitted qualifications and firm capacity to complete the work in the allotted time as requested for each project. Professional Service Fee-Fee amount maximum will vary based upon an hourly as a multiple of Direct Personnel Expense for each location. Knoxville - $85,000
