Description | Project Description: This multi-phase project consists of approximately 5-10 subsequent phases. Each phase to be constructed per the Universitys discretion to bring minimal disruption to campus activities. The University is seeking to prequalify a pool of bidders that will bid each subsequent phase; the phases will be open to bid by only the prequalified bidders as a result of this effort. The scope is as follows: Medium voltage system modification and installation including but not limited to equipment and wiring installation. Trenching and duct bank installation. 600V system modification and installation Generator installation Emergency power system installation and modification Utility coordination Low voltage system installation Commissioning and testing for all systems installed and modified Civil and landscape services to support all electrical work Estimated cost for each subsequent phase that will be bid individually: *$1,000,000 to $2,500,000 Million *Pending budgetary approvals. Completed Prequalification Questionnaires and associated documents must be received on or before 2:00 PM, on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, and will be received only at the email above. The University reserves the right to reject any or all responses to Prequalification Questionnaires and to waive non-material irregularities in any response received. Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the Lump Sum Base Bid shall accompany each Bid. The Surety issuing the Bid Bond shall be, on the Bid Deadline, an admitted surety insurer (as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120). The work described in the contract is a public work subject to section 1771 of the California Labor Code. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. |
