Description | Reference Number 0000319965 Install upgrades to existing AV system in student union at Harrison High School as specified 1. Replace ten (10) existing high definition video displays with larger ultra-high definition panels that may be remotely controlled via networked serial commands. All panels will be able to display any combination of encoded material. 2. Replace ten (10) existing high definition video network decoders with ultra-high definition video decoders that will issue control system commands to new displays. 3. Replace ten (10) existing high definition video encoders with three (3) ultra-high definition video encoders that will provide feeds from two separate cable boxes and the associated Performing Arts Center. 4. Replace two (2) existing wall plate interfaces with ultra-high definition wall plate encoders that will also provide audio encoding into their respective video feeds. 5. Provide three (3) new ultra high definition wall plate encoders with audio embedding. 6. Provide one (1) new video control unit for the purpose of control system interface. 7. Provide one (1) new overall combined control system and audio digital signal processor. 8. Provide one (1) new touch panel user control interface for overall system control. Two modes shall be established; basic for everyday use and scheduling, and advanced for higher level operation. 9. Provide one (1) new user control interface for overall system control. 10. Provide two (2) new loudspeakers and adjust existing four (4) loudspeakers for optimal area coverage. 11. Provide one (1) new loudspeaker amplifier with optimized DSP for optimized area coverage. 12. System will be capable of accepting inputs from two (2) cable boxes, a feed from the Performing Arts Center, and the five (5) (existing and additional) input panels in the space. 13. System will be capable of PowerPoint and other BYOD presentations, as well as basic live music performances. 14. System will be capable of displaying signals individually or to all monitors simultaneously The school district will run required cabling, and mount all monitors, speakers, and control and input panels. Awarded vendor will terminate cabling, rebuild equipment rack, and program and test systems The Harrison Central School District reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bids, or to reject all bids, or to accept any bid which in the opinion of the Board will be to their best interest. |
