Medlin Campus Center Renovation

Renovation includes approximately 115,000 square foot of existing Medlin Campus Center space with major grading and site work around the perimeter of the building. Work also includes demolition of the existing welding building, the pedestrian bridge at the south entry, and construction of a new steel-framed entry on the south face elevation, as well as a new entrance and canopy on the north face elevation. The interior renovation will modify almost all of the existing space, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, new elevators, stairs, and departmental layouts. New 4-story entrance added on the south-west face of the building. The new entrance will add approximately 1,772 square-feet of floor space giving the building a total of 115,483 square feet of area. Included within this renovation is site work that encompass concrete sidewalks and asphalt paving and new landscaping. A new elevator and sprinkler system will be incorporated in the building along with new plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems to meet the new design and function of the building.
