Description | Contract 1 Gravity Sewer Replacement. The Contract will consist of removal and replacement of sanitary sewers and laterals; reconnection of gravity sewers to existing manholes; relocation of storm sewers and inlets that conflict with proposed work; removal and restoration of concrete sidewalks, curb ramps, driveway aprons and concrete curbing; removal and restoration of street pavement disturbed; restoration of all disturbed lawns, landscaping, fencing and other facilities, and preparation and implementation of traffic control plan. Contract 2 - Force Main Replacement. The Contract will consist of horizontal directional drilling and installation of HDPE pipe; installation of ductile iron piping by open cut excavation including pipe bedding; installation of valves, air release valves and air release manholes; installation of concrete thrust/anchor blocks at ends of all HDPE pipe runs; installation of HDPE to ductile iron pipe transition couplers; connection of HDPE pipe to discharge manhole; quality control and pipe testing; site security; connections to pipelines and surface restoration of all disturbed areas. Contract 3 Pump Station Replacement. The Contract will consist of clearing, grubbing and stripping; all site work including demolition, earthwork, excavation, backfill, aggregate subbase, paving, surface restoration; parking areas; electrical connections from power source supply to Pre-Engineered Pump Station Building ; furnishing, installation, testing and startup of the Pre-Engineered Pump Station with all components; all tanks, structures, buildings, piping, equipment; coordination with utility companies; dewatering as required for construction of the facilities; development and implementation of a Maintenance of Service Plan; start-up of all equipment; clean water testing of the pump station prior to final commissioning and placement into service. This includes pumping of water during the testing, recording of data; quality control and testing; site security; coordination with Contract 2 Force Main and Contract 1 Gravity Sewers; implementing and maintaining Erosion and Sediment Control Plan; payment of all utility bills associated with construction and any bypass pumping required for maintenance of conveyance. |
