Description

Replace two (2) units (units #5 and #7) located on top of the Mesa County Old Courthouse Building. Mesa County is requesting that the units be replaced with new Trane units per the specifications, including model numbers, identified on attachment A. Both are to be installed per the manufacturer’s recommendations. See additional bullet list below 1. All contractors must pass a background check prior to being allowed to work within or on the roof of the facility. 2. Working hours will be 7:00 am through 5:00 pm Monday through Friday unless approved different hours. 3. Contractor is to include with their bid all required Trane SC Controls for the new unit. Trane will be a Sub-Contractor to the awarded contractor and will perform the start-up of the units. 4. All required permits must be obtained by contractor prior to any work starting. 5. Staging areas will be discussed at the pre-bid meeting 6. Contractors may be required to replace the existing roof top curb or at minimum a required adaptor. If curb or adaptor requires any roof membrane work contractor will be required to perform all repairs through a Certified Roofer. The existing roof is a TPO system. 7. All electrical work will be performed by contractor and/or Sub Contractor.
