| Description | Construct Taxiway Fence at Battle Creek ANGB: Proposed fence is to start at the terminus of the existing fence line south of building 6917. The fence line should then extend in an westerly direction, roughly parallel to the existing taxiway to the south. The fence should run in this direction for a distance of 732 feet. This distance shall include one 16' wide gate. At the end of the 732 ft, the fence shall turn 90 degrees north and terminate into the southern wall of building 6900. Included in the work will be the installation of security signage on the fence and gates to denote the secured area of the base. The fence shall be a 7-foot high chain-link style with concrete post foundations and three strands of barbed wire along the top. The materials and installation are based on the criteria given in UFC 4-022-03 for security fences and gates. |
