Description

Project includes the following elements which are to be performed at the Valley Creek Water Reclamation Facility (WRF): (1) Replacement or coating for select items in the Headworks area, (2) an elevated ramp to facilitate truck loading of screenings, (3) repair of spalled concrete in several clarifiers, (4) structural repairs in several clarifiers, (5) coating of several clarifier mechanisms and associated ferrous metal surfaces, (6) removal and/or replacement of the concrete topping in several clarifiers, (7) replacement of several existing valves, (8) coating or replacement of several corroded metal elements, (9) repair of leaking joints in digester area, (10) coating of the cover for Digester No. 2, (11) modifications in Pump Room B, (12) a new motor operated valve on the plant water system, (12) replacement of the effluent pump rail system, (14) replacement of two effluent pump VFDs, (15) conveyor replacements in the dewatering area, (16) demolition of some items in the dewatering area, and (17) modifications to the blower water system.
