The Contractor is subject to rates as established by Federal and State agencies when performing the aforementioned project and will be required to submit certified payrolls to the Town upon completion of project construction. *The Town of South Kingstown reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to accept any bid or waive any formality in the proposal as deemed advisable in the best interest of the Town. Bid bond , Performance, Labor and Materials Bond, Execution of Contract: Not Required ENERAL SCOPE OF SERVICES The Town of South Kingstown is soliciting bids from qualified floor covering contractors to install a new floor carpet covering in the South Kingstown Town Hall, Town Clerk's Office Records Vault located at 180 High Street. Wakefield, RI 02879 The Town reserves the right to award by all, by item or not at all based on the pricing submitted. DETAILS o Removal and disposal of existing floor coverings. Dumpster to be provided by contractor. o Cleaning and patching of substrates as required. o Installation of new carpeting or carpet tiles with adhesives and seaming according to the Manufacturers' specifications. o Pricing option A to include moving and or temporarily relocating furniture, file cabinets and fixtures to facilitate the installation and relocate the same in the above indicated areas. Pricing option B will exclude moving any furniture. Electronics will be disconnected by Town Staff. o Carpet tiles (Option 1) should be commercial grade for high traffic. Have modular tile dimensional stability +/-0.15% (match the pile of existing carpet). Have a tuft bind 8# minimum average value. Have a class II or greater fire resistance rating in accordance with ASTM E648 radiant panel test. o Adhesives and sealants must be compliant with CRI Green Label Plus. o Transitions to other floor coverings shall be vinyl.
