Right of Way Tree Trimming

Newport Utilities is accepting proposals for Right of Way Tree Trimming. The RFP has been divided into two sections. The first section is a one year contract for hourly rates for labor and equipment for tree pruning, trouble tickets, storm events and other vegetation management as needed. The second section is to be bid by designated circuits, and includes a total of approximately 254 miles of distribution circuit power line clearing. Newport Utilities is an EEO entity and as such requires the following: If applicable, this contractor and subcontractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR Sections 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a). This subcontract may also be subject to Executive Order 13496 and implementing regulations at 29 CFR Part 471, Appendix A to Subpart A.
