Description | Installation and testing of the current uninterrupted powers supply units. The Contractor shall replace a total of 80 batteries per each Eaton 9390 unit (Quantity 2 units, 160 Batteries). • Replacement items should be (Mfr Part Number: HR12280WFR) or equivalent bateries The Contractor shall remove and dispose of old batteries, packing material, and debris. - Remove per EAP Regulation - Provide proof of disposal to the Government. The Contractor shall test all installed batteries to ensure the equipment is operable and meets the required performance. - All batteries shall be replaced as new - Provide Proof that batteries are in good standing Visual Inspection: Visually inspect unit internal and external components for debris and abnormalities. Inspect all power connections for signs of overheating Inspect and check for tightness all sub-assemblies, wires and harnesses Inspect all DC and AC capacitors for signs of leakage Inspect air filter (replace or clean as needed) Inspect fans for proper operation Environmental Inspection: Check environmental conditions for hazards and/or safety concerns. Inspect condition and operation of room ventilating equipment Perform general cleaning of unit area Wipe down the outside of unit including control panel/CRT screen Temperature Inspection: Infrared thermal scan to inspect internal and external components for overheating. Measure and record room and unit exhaust temperature Measure and record input, output and DC connection temperature Scan system for loose connections and potential hot spots within the UPS or PDU cabinets. Report findings. Operating Parameters: Ensure UPS or PDU is operating at peak performance. Measure and record UPS or PDU input and output voltages, currents and frequency Measure and record DC voltage and current Measure and record inverter leg current for balance Measure and record power supply voltages Perform a manual transfer of the unit to Bypass and back online (with approval of onsite personnel) Perform a Battery discharge test by opening the input feed to the UPS (with approval of onsite personnel) |
