Description

Installation of a wet/dry sprinkler system in the historically important 1835 Town Hall at 31 Main Street, Sterling, MA. 1. Obtain permits. The Town waives all local permit fees. 2. Acquire the necessary components and install the system per the attached by Corneliusen Consulting. a. Due to the sufficient water main pressure, the system will not require a sprinkler pump. b. The Town will provide a new 4” water line with a flange and cap at the location marked in the building basement. 3. Connect the sprinkler system to the new building alarm system. 4. Label all values and controls 5. Repair any wall, floor, or ceiling damage due to the sprinkler system installation, including painting. 6. Clean all work areas to existing conditions. 7. Remove and dispose all packaging and construction materials 8. Provide O&M manuals.
