Description | The County is seeking proposals from interested and qualified firms to provide various Public Works maintenance services throughout the County. Services include concrete work, crack filling, traffic control, triffic stripping, hazardous waste removal, and weed abatement services. This RFQ is being released to identify, pre-qualify and augment the Board approved list of on-call vendors, hereafter referred to as "Contractors" who will bid to provide Public Works Maintenance Services to specific sites as routine maintenance projects, public projects or emergencies as they occur. Contract Term: July 1, 2023-January 31, 2028. There will not be a pre-bid conference, however, deadline for questions is Tuesday, May 2, 2023. Answers and questions will be posted on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. To require contractor on all projects over $25,000 to file a payment bond with and approved by the County's Director of Public Works, or the Director's designee, in accordance with Civil Code Section 9550, in a penal sum equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. To require contractor to file a performance bond as directed by the County's Director of Public Works in an RFB in a penal sum equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The San Bernardino County Flood Control District, hereafter collectively referred to as the "County" or "San Bernardino County," are seeking proposals from interested and qualified firms to provide Public Works Maintenance Services throughout the county. More specifically, this Request of Qualifications (RFQ) is being released to identify, prequalify, and create a Board-authorized list of vendors, who will bid to supply Public Works Maintenance Services as routine maintenance projects or public projects, not exceeding $60,000, are scheduled or as emergencies occur. Vendors are not required to provide all components of Public Works Maintenance Services to participate in this RFQ. Vendors submitting proposals in response to this RFQ will hereafter be referred to as "Proposers." |
