Adventure Landing Park Redevelopment

Plans call for a new apartment complex. As of January 4, 2023, the City Council voted in favor on October 17, 2022 to advance the developer's rezoning request after an agreement was reached with the developer to add affordable housing. The November 7th meeting confirmed this project can move forward but a redesign will have to take place. The current owner of Adventure Landing Park was able to obtain one more year of the park before it has to close down for this development to move forward. This park will closed on December 31, 2023. An architect has been selected. Information regarding how and when a general contractor will be selected has not yet been confirmed. Construction will not begin until the park closes.
