Description | The Project includes full depth paving, milling and overlay, drainage improvements, curbing, traffic signal improvements, pedestrian improvements, realignment of existing State Road Intersection with new roadway, and other related construction improvements. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond, certified check, or cashier's check, in favor of National Developers Residential, Inc. in the amount of not less than 10% of the total amount of the bid. The successful bidder shall be bound to furnish and pay for a Performance Bond and a Labor & Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, on bond forms provided by National Developers Residential, Inc. All bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified to submit a bid and must complete a non-collusion affidavit. This contract is in accordance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and the successful bidder shall pay no less than the Wage Rates determined for the project as stated in the Contract documents. Award of the Contract, if the contract is awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder, as determined by National Developers Residential, Inc. National Developers Residential, Inc. reserves the right to reject any and or all bids on any basis and to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in the bidding, as permitted by law, and to accept any Bid which it may deem to be for or in the best interest of the National Developers Residential, Inc. in its sole and absolute discretion. No bidder may withdraw a bid after the actual date of the opening thereof. All bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified to submit a bid and must complete a non-collusion affidavit.
