Corps of Engineers Sand Replenishment - Construction - City of San Clemente

This project is to provide the remainder of the City' s required 35% local cost share for project construction ( i.e. sand placement) . This request will supplement a prior grant of $3.4 million from the State. The City recently applied for additional State grant funding which, if awarded, could further reduce the City' s net local cost share. Project is included in the City of San Clemente FY 2022-2027 CIP. Per the owner, as of September 7, 2021, federal funding for this project has been postponed and will be re-evaluated in 2022. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
