Description | WATER SYSTEM LINING The Project consists of cleaning and cement-mortar lining of approximately 4,800 linear feet of 6-inch water main, including pre and post construction closed-circuit television inspection. Project will include additional excavation activities where needed for Owner to perform pipe repairs while mains are out of service and traffic control is in place. Make checks payable to Gannett Fleming, Inc. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid Bond in an amount not less than 10 percent of the Bid total, payable to the Owner in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. (Telephone: 717-886-5550 or (E-mail): (kfox@gfnet.com) The Owner reserves the right, at its option, to waive as an informality any, defects, errors, or omissions in any or all Bids; and to reject any or all Bids. The OWNER expects the CONTRACTOR will begin the Work starting in April 2022, depending material availability. The Work shall be substantially completed within 120 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in paragraph 2.03 of the General Conditions, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with paragraph 14.07 of the General Conditions within 150 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. |
