New Hollywood/Soldier Hill-Water and Sewer Rehabilitation

The Rosebud Sioux Tribe will accept bids from qualified contractors for the construction of replacement of water mains and upgrading sewer mains in New Hollywood and Soldier Hill (Rosebud Community), Rosebud Reservation, Todd County, South Dakota. Existing water mains will be abandoned in place, existing hydrants and valves will be removed and abandoned. 10,129 LF of 6 PVC water main will be installed, 920 LF of 6 water main directional drill, 4,671 LF of 1 PE water service lines, 2,749 LF of 1 PE water service lines directional drill, in addition to new valves, fittings, and hydrants. Rehabilitation of the sewer system will include 9,450 LF of 8 Cured in Place Pipe sewer main renovation, 907 LF of 8 SDR-26 sewer main, and 5,993 LF 4 PVC sewer service lines. The total contract price will not be increased without prior authorization from the Owner via the change order process. In the evaluation of the bids, the Owner may, within funding limitations, give preference up to the amount of five percent above the lowest total bid, to qualified Indian owned firms. The qualified Indian owned firms must register with the local TECRO Office prior to the bid opening. TECRO taxes will apply.
