| Description | Project will include the removal, disposal and replacement of a portion of the concrete curbs and sidewalks on south side of First Avenue between North Broadway and Franklin Street as shown on the contract documents. Select sections of removal, disposal and replacement concrete curbs and sidewalks on the north side of First Avenue may be included as an alternate if the budget allows. The limits will be marked in the field. The total scope of work for the major items of this project includes the construction of approximately 165 SY of concrete sidewalk, 4 inch thick, 175 LF of 6” X 8” X 20” concrete vertical curb, 65 SY of concrete apron, 6 inch thick, 16 SF of embedded detectable warning surfaces for handicapped ramps, 60 LF of sawcuting existing concrete, soil erosion and sediment control provisions, and other associated work | ||||
