Contract III - 2020 USDA Well Building Improvements

The project will consist of the rehabilitation of the three public water supply wells and well buildings utilized by the Town of Red Springs. The scope of work will vary between the three well sites, as detailed in the plans, and includes multiple alternate method options. Rehabilitation work will include replacement and/or addition of site fencing and gating, cleaning and redevelopment of the wells, replacement of valves and other equipment associated with the well heads, and refurbishment and/or replacement of well building structures, roofs, electrical panels, paint, and other non-structural components. Work shall also include the installation of a magnetic flow meter in place of the existing flow meter at each well site (three total).
