Centre Park Revitalization Project

As of July 12, 2023 the project has been awarded to Barry Isett & Associates, Inc., awarded amount is $99,990.00. Centre Park Revitalization Project- Provide, install, and maintain temporary 6'height chainlink security fencing to secure site; to include removal at end of project . Provide, install, and maintain MUTCD traffic control devices and signs including but not limited to traffic cones, plastic drum barricade, and signage; to include removal at end of project. Protective Fencing - provide, install, and maintain 48" high, 20 mil orange construction fencing and posts around existing trees and shrubs to remain; remove at time of substantial completion; to include removal at end of project. Remove and store existing plantings within circle planter adjacent to existing fountain; to include installation of stored plantings. Asphalt Pavement Removal - sawcut and remove full depth of existing asphalt pavement and stone subbase; haul material off site and dispose of accordingly. Concrete Pavement Removal - sawcut and remove full depth of existing concrete pavement and stone subbase; haul material off site and dispose of accordingly . Location- 725 Centre Ave Reading, PA 19601 There will be NO mandatory pre-bid meeting for this project. The site is an open public park and can be accessed at contractor's leisure. Each proposal shall be accompanied by bid surety in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal. A certified check or bid bond will be accepted. Attention is called to the fact that prevailing wage rates must be paid by the contractor and that employees shall not be discriminated against because of race, color, age, religion, sex or national origin. The City of Reading reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to accept or reject any part of a bid, as may be in the public interest.
