City Hall and Municipal Auditorium Roofing

The City of Neosho is requesting bids for the repair and replacement of the roofing systems on the City Hall and Municipal Auditorium buildings. Remove and properly dispose of all existing flashing, wet roof insulation (per thermal scans provided), roof top debris as to provide a suitable substrate for the installation of the new roof system include wet roof insulation removal and replacement within scope of work. The existing roof membrane is to be cut into sections as required by the roof manufacturer's latest printed recommendations. Remove and store existing coping cap for reuse. Install new 1/2" fiberglass reinforced gypsum board (Securerock) mechanically attached to the steel decking with new #12 screw type fasteners and 3-inch steel fastener plates in strict accordance with the roofing material manufacturer's latest printed recommendations Questions concerning the specifications and bid procedure should be directed to Richard Leavens, Developmental Services Director, at the follow address/phone: 417-451-8050, 203 E. The City reserves the right to split bids, if in the best interest of the City. Provide twenty (20) year roof manufacturers labor and material warranty. Provide contractor's two-year labor and material warranty.
