Description William Howard Taft N.H.S. - Repair Retainer Wall and Paved Walkway: project involves removing approximately 39 square foot of pavers in front of the entranceway door, adding the desired amount of bedding sand, in order to bring the pavers up to the bottom of the entrance door's threshold. Then tapering them within a four-foot distance so that the brick pavers meet the existing pavers at the same height and there is proper water drainage away from the door. Removing approximately, 40 square foot area of pavers, adding the needed amount of bedding sand, raising the pavers to the proper height and then tapering them within a four-foot distance allowing water to flow away from the building and down to the drain. Then Caulking the pavers that are next to the building. In addition to that, a one square foot area of pavers next to a retainer wall have settled and need raised to meet the existing pavers. The base under this area is filtering out from under the pavers, the cause needs to-be fixed and the pavers raised to the proper height. Removing two six-foot capstones. Tearing out 11 courses of brick on the outside and 15 courses on the inside of a twelve-foot retainer wall. Relaying the brick and replacing the capstones.
