Electric and Gas Professional Engineering and Design Build Services

Professional Engineering and Design-Build Firms to perform services relating to the design, construction and/or analytical studies of electrical, gas and other miscellaneous projects on a continuing basis. The selection procedure will be in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 287.055, Florida Statutes, as amended. Firms interested in both professional engineering and design-build services must submit separate packages to be considered for both continuing contracts. Professional Engineering and Design-Build Firms shall be retained by the Fort Pierce Utilities Authority (FPUA) to perform professional engineering and design-build services on an as-needed basis relating to design and construction management of the Electrical and Gas Systems. Selection for continuing professional engineering and design-build services does not guarantee assignment to any project. FPUA retains the right to negotiate with any firm on any project, whether or not the firm is one with which FPUA has a continuing contract. FPUA anticipates awarding a minimum of six (6) professional engineering contracts and a minimum of three (3) design-build contracts. Design, construction and/or analytical studies for projects may be assigned in, but not limited to any of the following areas: •Transmission and Distribution •Systems Studies •Substations •Field Inspections and Commissioning •NERC Compliance •Gas Engineering Services •Contract Negotiations •Advanced Metering Infrastructure •GIS and Surveying •Other Miscellaneous Engineering Services

Division 03 -	Concrete, Concrete Forming, Cast-in-Place Concrete.
Division 04 -	Masonry, Unit Masonry.
Division 05 -	Metals, Structural Metal Framing.
Division 26 -	Electrical, Instrumentation and Control for Electrical Systems, Substations, Power Distribution Units, Transfer Switches.
Division 31 -	Earthwork, Clearing and Grubbing, Grading.
Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Fences and Gates.
