Description

The Owner Requires That All Work Associated With the Project Be Completed Before October 20, 2023. Each Proposal Must Contain the Full Name of the Party or Parties Making the Same and All Persons Interested Therein, and Be Accompanied, Pursuant to Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, by a Satisfactory Bid Guaranty: Either a Bid Bond or a Bid and Performance Payment Bond Executed by the Bidder and an Acceptable Surety, in an Amount Equal to One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Total Amount for Each Individual Proposal, or by a Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or a Letter of Credit Pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code in an Amount Equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Amount for Each Individual Proposal, Payable to Richland County Board of Commissioners as a Guarantee That if the Proposal is Accepted, a Contract Will Be Entered Into. The Owner of the Project is the Richland County Board of Commissioners. Prime Contractor Must Perform No Less Than 30 Percent of the Total Original Contract Price. This is a Federal-aid Project and the Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Regulations Listed in the Proposal Shall Govern. A Valid Certificate of Compliance With Affirmative Action Programs, Issued by the State Eeo Coordinater Dated Prior to the Date Fixed for the Opening of Bids to Be Presented at the Time of the Bid Opening. Disadvantaged Business (Dbe) Requirement. Dbe Participation Goals (Subcontracts, Materials, Supplies) Have Been Set on This Project for Those Certified as Dbes Pursuant to Title 23, U.s.c. Section 104(C) and 49 Cfr, Part 26, and Where Applicable Qualified to Bid With Odot Under Chapter 5525 of the Ohio Revised Code. Dbe Goal 10 %. Attention of Bidders is Particularly Called to the Prevailing Wage Rates to Be Paid Under the Contract. The Owner Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informalities or to Reject Any or All Bids.
