2022 Zion Sidewalk Project

The project will consist of the installation of new sidewalks on multiple city blocks. The City of Zion reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or technicalities in bidding, to re-advertise for bids, or to accept the proposal which it deems most favorable to the interest of the City. As evidence of good faith, each bid submitted shall be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid to secure the City against loss occasioned by failure of the contractor to abide by and comply with the terms of this bid. Each contractor, by submitting a bid, signifies his intentions and good faith to enter into a contract with the City of Zion, Illinois, should he be awarded the contract. The awarding of this contract is contingent upon the receipt of Lake County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.
