2022 E-Rate WAN Services

The District intends to apply for discounts on the equipment/services listed in this RFP through the federal E-rate program. Several criteria and restrictions pertinent to the E-rate program are included herein and must be met by the successful vendor in order for the proposal to be considered a Qualified Proposal. Seeking lit fiber connection from our Yough Senior High School (919 Lowber Road, Herminie PA, 15637) to multiple locations, Yough Intermediate Middle School (171 Route 31 Ruffs Dale, PA 15679), HW Good Elementary (1464 Herminie West Newton Road Herminie, PA 15637), and Mendon Elementary (164 Route 31 Ruffsdale, PA 15679) in a Wide Area Network configuration. We are not requesting proposals for bundled internet delivered over fiber. We are looking for 1 Gb fiber connection between the High School location and the Elementary locations. We are looking for 10 Gb fiber connection from the High School to the Middle School. Contract term is for 3 years with two optional 1-year renewals. Service must be in place for July 1, 2022. Any build out costs must be specified separately from the monthly cost. It is preferred that the vendor allow any build out cost to be paid over the initial 3 year term. Must provide three references of existing customers in the state of Pennsylvania.
