Clerestory Panels Replacement - Standley Lake Library

The clerestory roof in our Standley Lake Library was constructed in 1991 and is fiberglass-reinforced panels that have developed some leaks and have UV damage. The Library needs to replace roof panels with a similar product that will provide the appropriate strength, leak protection and long-term life expectancy. The contractor will remove the existing roof panels and install new roof panels that JCPL will approve. General Panel Requirements; 1) Comparable to existing in fit and function 2) Product and install with life expectancy of at least 20 years 3) Able to withstand local weather events (hail, wind, snow load, etc.) 4) Panels must match existing clerestory roof pitch 5) Visible Light Transmission in the range of .20 to .30 6) U value of .23 or less 7) Solar Heat Gain (SHGC) of 0.31 or less 8) Panels should be maintenance free 9) Minimum 10 year warranty on glazing and finish 10) Work must be completed by Friday, December 31, 2021
