Description | Farmington Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all informalities or technical defects, if it is deemed to be in the best interest of Farmington Public Schools to do so. Question Deadline 06/22/2023 Disconnection and off-site disposal of the existing equipment and reclaiming of refrigerant is the responsibility of the contractor and all costs associated with such must be included in the bid price If a crane will be required to hoist off any equipment or to hoist on the new units, all costs and permits for crane work will be the responsibility of the contractor and the cost shall be included in the bid price. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the form of cash, bid bond, certified check, treasurer's check or cashier's check made payable to Farmington Public Schools in an amount not less than 10% of the bid. The successful bidder upon award of bid will need to provide a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Labor and Materials Bond. Coordination of schedule and placement of crane must be provided to the Facilities Director and approved by the him prior to mobilization. Any damages to the roof caused by careless work will be the responsibility of the contractor and will be repaired at the contractor's expense. The contractor is responsible for all electrical work needed for the replacement of the HVAC units. The contractorisresponsible forreconnecting the new unitsto the buildings energy management system, including any new modules/hardware required for 100% complete system. The contractor is responsible for commissioning the new equipment once it is installed to ensure proper functionality and code compliance. o Provide as-built drawings, manufacturer's O&M manuals and equipment schedules at the conclusion of the project. o Provide and program new Air Conditioning and integrate new Air Conditioning with the existing building automation controls system. o If any existing hazardous materials are required to be removed to complete the project they must be identified by the contractor. Proper and safe removal of the materials will be required and will be provided to the City of Farmington as a change order. The City of Farmington reserves the right to competitively bid the hazardous waste removal identified by the contractor. Contractor will provide a schedule to including construction milestones, task durations, and lead times for equipment. The schedule will be detailed by using number of days after contract award for each construction milestones, task durations, and lead times for equipment. o Alternate comparable equipment must be submitted for review and approval. |
