D.G.S. 377-1 ESTIMATED RANGE: .1 General - $1,000,000 - $2,000,000 LIQUIDATED DAMAGES = (.1) $370.00 per day. There is no Bid Guaranty required for this Project. CLIENT AGENCY REQUIREMENTS: - No later five (5) working days (i.e., Monday thru Friday) in advance of the non-mandatory pre-bid conference, all bidders visiting the site will need contact the Ross Buscemi at the facility via email at rbuscemi@pa.gov and provide him with the Bidder's company information and the full names of the persons attending the pre-bid conference. The Department of General Services Public Works and the Bureau of Diversity, Inclusion and Small Business Opportunities (BDISBO) identified this procurement as eligible for the setting of Small Diverse Business (SDB) and/or Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation goals. However, BDISBO did not set SDB and/or VBE participation goals for those procurements that are less than the $400,000 threshold required to set either goal. In addition, there will be no points allocated toward SDB/SB participation for this procurement. This is a significant programmatic change from the SDB and SB Participation program contained in prior Projects issued by Public Works. Bidders now must agree to meet the SDB and VBE Participation Goals in full or demonstrate that they have made Good Faith Efforts to meet the Goals. Renovations to the existing SCI Forest 1,000,000 gallon Fluted Column, Elevated Water Storage Tank, including, but not limited to full blast and recoating of interior wet and exterior surfaces, spot repairs to interior dry coating system, miscellaneous metals modifications and repairs, safety improvements, and removal / replacement of the existing cathodic protection system General Construction (.1) Contract: 1. Metals Modifications and Repairs 2. Interior Wet Surface Preparation and Coating 3. Exterior Surface Preparation and Coating 4. Interior Dry Surface Preparation and Coatings 5. Disinfection and Testing 6. Engage Corrpro Waterworks (Corrpro) for cathodic protection system removal and reinstallation as indicated in Specification Section 134714.
