For Public Facilities and Public Service Needs - Penn House Project The project consists of construction associated with a new 4,700-square-foot, single-story community building to be built adjacent the Penn House in Reidsville, NC The bidder shall show such evidence by clearly displaying his or her current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered. The CDBG-CV project is designed to help the City respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and prepare for future pandemics and includes the construction of a building at the Penn House property to allow for social distancing, partnerships for health screenings and COVID-19 testing, and partnerships for telehealth opportunities. All project-related questions are to be submitted in writing to jyarbrough@reidsvillenc.gov and LBeverly@CPLteam.com All contractors and all subcontractors must have proper license in accordance with State laws governing their respective trades in accordance with General Statutes of North Carolina Chapter 87 This project is being funded in whole or in part by the Community Development Block Grant Program - Corona Virus program (CDBG-CV). All federal CDBG requirements will apply to the contract: Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Section 109 and E.O. 11246 which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Davis Bacon Act, Anti-Kickback Act, and Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act.
