General: The work specified herein shall be the abatement of asbestos-containingmaterials by certified and registered persons who are knowledgeable, qualified andtrained in the abatement, handling, and disposal of asbestos containing materials, and subsequent cleaning of the affected environment. 2. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, testing, services, permits, insurance, notifications, necessary or required to perform the work in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations for the abatement of asbestos-containing materials and for other work as specified in this section or as indicated in associated drawings, sketches, or reports of the work. |
