Description

Work consists of laying and grading new gravel base material for NPS Route 5 (642,048 SF). Approximately 8000 cubic yards of road base material will be added to the gravel road, graded, and compacted in place. Also project requires clearing drainage ditches and replacing 3 bad culverts, and repair (1) wooden heavy timber bridge over Highland Creek.. This Project may have two optional line items: A. OPTION 1 – Install concrete culvert on Beaver Creek on the NPS Section of SD Route 266. Culvert is near the site and ready for install (Government Furnished Product). Culvert will need to be transferred from storage location to the creek and installed according to drawings. B. OPTION 2 – Placing gravel on NPS Section of SD Route 266 from the cattleguard at the NPS boarder, over the culvert on Beaver Creek to the cattle guard past the culvert near the Sanson Ranch house. Gravel is at the location (Government Furnished Product). Gravel is to be installed on the road, graded, and compacted in place.
