Description

Snow will be removed from roads on an "as-needed" basis according to the priority guidelines listed below for the given roads and map, see attachment B. Every effort shall be made to have all roads listed below cleared of snow within 24 hours after the snowfall ends. Blue: Access road. The 2.5-mile access road (Storm Mountain Drive from bridge off of CR 43 to the "T" intersection with Palisade Mountain Drive) is to be plowed and sanded as needed during or - 5 - as soon as possible after a snow event. Green: Main Roads. These roads should be plowed during or directly after a snow event so the snow depth does not exceed 6 inches. Red: Secondary Roads. These roads should be plowed only when snow depth exceeds 6 inches. Yellow: No snow removal on these roads (not maintained by the PID).
