City of Cocoa Invitation to Bid Notice is hereby given that the Replacement of 20-Ton Roof Top AC Condensing Units at Cocoa City Hall Documents available on Vendor Link The City of Cocoa is soliciting for a contractor to install two new 20-ton TRANE (or equivalent) roof top air conditioning condensing units, and remove the old units at the Cocoa City Hall located at 65 Stone Street, Cocoa, Florida, 32922. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bid/proposals, with or without a cause; to waive technical errors and informalities; and to award proposals to the highest rated responsive and responsible bidder. One or more of the City Council members may be present at the bid/proposal opening. The City of Cocoa supports local vendors and offers a five (5%) percent preference given to Brevard County contractors / contractors whose physical business address is within the physical boundaries of Brevard County and such location is evidenced by the local business tax receipt issued for at least six (6) months prior to the date the bid is submitted. P.O. Boxes shall not be considered a physical business address. Local preference does not apply in the case where contracts are funded in whole or in part by a government entity whose laws or regulations governing such funding prohibit application of a local vendor preference.
