Heat Pump AHU Replacement (SBE Set Aside)

Existing heat pump AHU, connections and components as required to accomplish replacement, including, but not necessarily limited to: electrical connections, ductwork, refrigerant lines and condensate drain lines. Properly dispose of the existing equipment and provide turnkey installation to furnish and install new equipment detailed below. The contractor shall carefully perform selective demolition to safeguard the existing equipment which is scheduled to remain and be reconnected. All work shall conform to Florida Building code and the authority having jurisdiction requirements. The bidder’s lump sum should be inclusive of all costs and incidental items related to the full and complete scope, include any and all items that are necessary for a complete workmanlike installation. The work is located at Jackson Memorial Hospital Central Building, 1611 NW 12 Avenue, Miami, FL 33136. 1. Provide all required construction services to prepare location for installation of the new equipment. 2. Remove existing AHU and selectively demo existing connections and components as required to accomplish replacement. Owner to provide direction for disposition of the equipment. 3. Provide new air handling units (AHU) matching the specified manufacturer and capacity in the four (4) locations. 4. The scope calls for two (2) new 1” ball valves, two (2) new 6” threaded hoses, and new flow switches at each AHU.
