Description | The Project Will Consist of The Installation of Approximately 6 LF of 8" Pvc Sanitary Sewer Pipe, 318 LF of 8" HDPE Sewer Pipe Bursting, 599 LF Of 12" PVC Sewer Pipe and Associated Appurtenances, 535 LF of 4" Sewer Laterals, the Reconnection of 7 Existing Sewer Laterals, 2 Air Relief Valves, 16 Potable Water Connections, 925 LF of 8" Water Pipe & Fittings And 1 Fire Hydrant. Also Included with the Project Will Be Landscape Restoration, Concrete Work and Asphalt Paving and Patching. The class or classes of work for which bidders must prequalify are the following: TEMPORARY FEATURES AND APPURTENANCES, ROAD WORK, DRAINAGE & SEWERS, WEARING SURFACES, RIGHT OF WAY DEVELOPMENT & CONTROL, AND WATER SUPPLY SYSTEMS. If the bidder has prequalified with the City within one year prior to the Bid Opening, and suchprequalification is for the call of work as stated above with no substantial change, then it will not be necessary to prequalify again for this bid. Bidder shall state as part of the bid that the provisions of ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 (Prevailing Wage Rate) shall be complied with. The City of Grants Pass may reject any bid not in compliance with all public bidding procedures and requirements, may waive any irregularities, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the City it is in the public interest to do so. The work shall be completed no later than forty-five (45) calendar days after a written Notice to Proceed is given to the Contractor by City. |
